committee member of Boardwave, Venture Partner at Notion Capital, advisor/angel
to Robin AI, Vyntelligence, Openblend, and Mintago.


Adam was a non-executive board member of Unit4 from 2018 until 2021 when it was
acquired by TA Associates/Partners group for $2.1bn. He has also been Chairman of
DevOpsGroup (acquired by Amdocs) and the Scale Up Institute.


CEO of SaaS HRtech Fairsail (2013-2017), based on the Salesforce platform. ARR
grew from £700k to £14m and team from 13 to 150. Sage Group acquired Fairsail in
2017 for 23x the value in 2013. Earlier career at Russell Reynolds (16 years) and
Accenture (10 years).

1. What values are most important to you as a leader? 

Curiosity.  Listening.  Energy.  Distinctiveness.  

2. Who or what is your biggest inspiration?

Marc Benioff & Salesforce. He and I are the same age and both took Computer Science degrees at the same time.  He founded Salesforce which became the pioneering SaaS company and set the standard for many areas globally. I didn’t!   

3. Best piece of advice you have been given?

You don’t fatten a pig by weighing it.

4. What would you tell your younger self?

You will be successful professionally.  Spend more time with family & friends. 

5. What has been your most important or profound lesson as a leader?

If there’s time to fix it when it goes wrong (which there always is), then there is time to get it right the first time. So do that.
