Mayank Prakash is the Group COO for UK’s largest wealth and professional services group managing £57B assets. He has led Transformation, Tech, Data, Ops and Security for FTSE100 and Fortune 500 industry leaders across sectors internationally.
He is a Non-Executive Director for Uber in the UK where he has driven Uber’s strategic reset and adoption of 100% EV target by 2025. Alongside this, he also chairs PIMFA WealthTech Council which manages assets worth £1.7T bringing together peer COOs, as well as sitting on SoftCat’s Board.
Mayank has been recognised as UK’s most influential person in Tech by ComputerWeekly and named CIO Digital Leader of the Year in the UK IT Industry Awards. He is also a fellow at both Wharton Business School and British Computing Society.
1. What values are most important to you as a leader?
Integrity, partnership, and ambition – in that order. It is important for leaders to be dependable, to role model ability to work with colleagues to achieve more together and to pursue an ambition which is worth being proud of.
2. Who or what is your biggest inspiration?
Diane Geppi-Aikens life story has inspired me over the years since I came across Lucky Every Day.
