1. Best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Never make big decisions based on fear.

2. Worst piece of advice you’ve been given?

Act more like a man…early in my career that was pretty normative guidance given to young women but, while there are many men I like and admire , I’ve found that anytime you aren’t your authentic self you can’t be doing your best work.

3. What would you tell your younger self?

You’re never too young to start moisturizing your neck…but also maybe to stress a little less and experiment a little more.

4. What excites you most about the future of your industry?

The potential to fund companies focused on creating vital change in the world- from life saving drugs to mission critical sustainability to groundbreaking fin-tech, it’s an amazing moment to be in venture as its reach is so broad right now.

5. Who or what is your biggest inspiration?

Honestly, right now my kids- they both really put themselves out there in ways that seem incredibly brave to
me; and in general whether its the Stoneman Douglas High School survivors or Greta Thunberg, this young generation of activists is teaching us all a lesson about what a committed citizen can accomplish.
